Zero-Knowledge by Design

Provelio is built on a fundamental principle: your files never leave your device. We hash files locally in your browser using SHA-256 and only transmit the resulting hash for timestamping.

What We Collect

• Account information: Email address and password hash for authentication.
• File hashes: SHA-256 digests of your files — not the files themselves.
• Certificates: Metadata about your timestamps (creation date, hash, status).
• Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the service (page views, feature usage).

What We Never Collect

• Your original files or file contents
• File names (unless you choose to include them)
• Payment information (handled by our payment processor)

Data Retention

Your certificates and proofs are retained indefinitely as they are anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure.
